The idea for this youth exchange started with the Greek team when they realized that the majority of people have lost their connection to the production of goods and are only consuming. So we created this youth exchange to raise awareness about these critical issues and learn how we can reduce our environmental footprint, how we can produce our own food and how we can reuse our waste.

Permastyle was our first youth exchange in Giamohori. A total of thirty young people from Greece, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Turkey and Poland stayed in our field for a week. We learned about the impact of humans on the planet, how we can reduce our environmental footprint, how to become more sustainable in our daily lives and how to make better choices. We exchanged ideas and made new friends. In addition, we learned how we can grow our own vegetables, create our own soap and generally how to live closer to nature.
