Nuno Vasco
Nuno is from Portugal and joined the YamoChori EcoProject driven by a desire for exploration and learning. During his stay, he experienced a different rhythm of daily life and work, closely connected to nature and community. He participated in a wide range of activities, including gardening tasks such as cutting tomatoes, painting structural elements, preparing daily meals, harvesting nuts, and supporting the general maintenance of the project. Through these activities, Nuno engaged in meaningful, hands-on work that emphasized commitment, presence, and cooperation rather than speed.
Mushrooms Identification
Nuno’s personal project focused on identifying and locating edible mushrooms in the area surrounding YamoChori. Through observation and exploration of the local environment, he aimed to develop his knowledge of local fungi and edible species, while increasing awareness of biodiversity and sustainable interaction with nature.
